Dear Reader,
Here in Scotland, spring is in the air… well, sort of. It’s still cold, wet, and windy, but there are some signs of the seasons changing, like the days getting longer and the flowers in our garden, such as daffodils, starting to bud. 🌸
Daisy’s best friend, Molly—a gorgeous, floofy golden retriever 🐕—has been staying with us this past week. Her visit has been full of adventures, including a long hike up the Kilpatrick Hills near Loch Lomond to see the Whangie.

The Whangie is a striking rock formation said in folklore to have been sliced open by the Devil as he whipped his tail while rushing to a witches’ gathering. 😈 Cool, eh?
Seeing Red
Gavin is now with a redhead! Don’t worry, he hasn’t found another woman. Amy, inspired by Maisie’s ever-changing hair colours in The Highland Game, decided to take the plunge and dye her hair a bold, fiery red.
Here she is with red hair. If you look carefully, you may even be able to spot our cocker spaniel, Daisy, too! 🤭

Speaking of our fourth book, the bonus epilogue is now available (handcuffs may or may not be involved 😉).
The Highland Bad Boy
The writing of the fifth and final novel in the True Scotsman series is in full swing, and, as always, music is fuelling our creativity. For The Highland Bad Boy, we’ve been blasting Black Holes and Revelations because, let’s face it—cue cheesy pun—Muse is the perfect muse for Robbie and Cat’s love story.
Muse’s dramatic energy and brooding vibes are the ideal match for the emotional chaos we’re throwing these two into. Buckle up, folks, it’s going to be a wild ride—in more ways than one. 🤭😏

We’re beginning to (*gulps*) think about our next series. We’d love to hear what makes your heart beat faster and grab that special book.

Scotland in the News
Two women recently proposed to one another at the same time atop Calton Hill in Edinburgh. Watch the video, it’s so sweet! ☺️
A prankster changed a 10k course in Glasgow, adding an extra 2.5km and confusing exhausted runners. That’s so something Jamie McIntyre would do!
A Highland Calf has been spotted near Glasgow doing the zoomies.
xx,
Amy and Gavin
